First Real BCS Standings

  1. Oklahoma Sooners
  2. Oregon Ducks
  3. Boise St. Broncos
  4. Auburn Tigers
  5. TCU Horned Frogs
  6. LSU Tigers
  7. Michigan St. Spartans
  8. Alabama Crimson Tide
  9. Utah Utes
  10. Ohio St. Buckeyes
OF course the BCS throws a huge curveball!  How can they rank Oklahoma one?  Oklahoma's only impressive victory over a FBS team is over the Florida St. Seminoles.  That in itself is not impressive at all.   Florida St.  plays in probably the weakest conference that is an automatic qualifier.  The ACC ain't nothing, beating a team from this conference, is like beating a good FCS school.  Wait Virginia Tech a team from the ACC lost to an FCS school.  So how can Oklahoma be ranked this high.  Next how does Michigan St. not land in the top five.  They beat the team who beat then number one Ohio St.  Auburn should be in the top two.  Beating a team that beat a good South Carolina team that beat then number one Alabama.  Oh by the way Auburn beat South Carolina too.  It's still a long season and a lot can happen, we'll just have to wait and see where teams end up.
